“Pickleball is where we embrace the mature side.”

Dinkaroo Sports Unlimited Incorporated [DSU]

Founded as a not-for-profit sports club in 2024 and run by volunteers, DSU is dedicated to providing a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for the young, the young-at-heart and active aging through pickleball and other racquet sports.

Our mission goes beyond physical activity; we aim to create a thriving community where everyone is welcomed in an environment that promotes equity, spirited competition, respect, a healthy & active lifestyle and to foster a close-knit community. Ultimately, our goal is to establish a welcoming space where seniors can come together, celebrate their chievements, and find joy in the company of others while engaging in the wonderful world of racquet sports.

“Pickleball is a fun, social-oriented game that is highly addictive! The rules are simple and the game is easy to pick up; played at your own pace or to a fast, competitive game”.

Generally, Dinkaroo Sports aims to provide affordable opportunities for everyone in our communities to participate and enjoy the game of Pickleball and other similar racquet sports
such as badminton through organised social sessions, coaching (grassroots, beginners, etc), spirited competitions, social competitions and discounted, special or free events.

The mission objective is to enable participants to enjoy a physical activity that promotes their general well-being safely in a controlled environment. Seniors’ Focus
On offer are a variety of programs tailored specifically for senior citizens, encouraging them to stay active while also building social skills. Through organized matches, workshops and training sessions, our members can enjoy a range of opportunities for physical fitness that cater to all skill levels. We believe that every individual, regardless of their previous experience in sports, should have the chance to participate and thrive in our activities.

These initiatives not only promote physical activity but also enhance overall well-being, mental health, and self-esteem among our participants.
Through strategic partnerships with other local clubs, not-for-profit organizations, councils and other associations, we aim to address the lack of sporting activities for our senior citizens.

Collaborating with these groups allows us to expand our reach and provide more comprehensive programming to meet the diverse needs of our community.

By working together, we can create events that are not only enjoyable but also enrich the lives of senior citizens, helping them to lead healthier, more active lifestyles.
